No certain #: There is no certain number after which it is unsafe. You do increase the risk of placental abnormalities as the number increases and the type of incision on your uterus can make a difference too. This is not necessarily the same as the scar on your abdomen. Your OB will be better able to tell you if your old scar was very thin at the time of your c- section. Hope this helps.
