If...: If this question is about having protein in the urine in a pregnant patient it all depends on what stage of pregnancy she is at. A trace is not usually an issue but we would need more information like her blood pressure levels, headaches, among other symptoms. My recommendation is to follow up with her OB closely on this and possibly repeat a urine to make sure there are no new changes.

Albumen: I would assume you mean if you have a trace of albumin in your urine you can deliver a baby normally and that is true.

It could be a benign: condition or could be a sign of hypertension,diabetes etc.Proteinuria should not affect the outcome of pregnancy unless it's associated with other conditions like hypertension, leg swelling,seizure.
