Yes: There are many serious or not so serious things that could cause both chest pain and back pain. On the serious side, it could be a blood clot in your lungs, an infection, bleeding in your chest, an aortic dissection, or other things. It could also be something musculoskeletal as well. I would recommend seeing your healthcare provider for a physical exam and further workup.

Yes: Don't know your age or history, obecity, cholesterol smoker etc. Some chest pain from the heart can radiate through the upper back as well. I doubt its the medication change. Its best to see your physician for a true physical and testing.
