None: There is no known interaction between plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) and birth control. Both can cause nausea and vomiting. Combing the two may increase nausea and vomiting. Do not discontinue without talking with your physician.

Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine): There is no interaction between plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) and birth control medication. It is used to treat such diseases as Lupus and Rheumatoid arthritis. It can even be given during pregnancy although this may be controversial. There are many serious side effects, nausea and vomiting being the more benign. I assume you have one of these diseases. You might discuss alternate treatments with your doctor.
