Emesis/ lavage: An overdose of Cafergot (ergotamine and caffeine) can be treated by induction of emesis or gastric lavage. Hypotension & convulsions may require treatment and pulmonary ventilation must be maintained. Vasodialators are sometimes used for peripheral vasospasm.
