Dysfunctional bleed: It is not uncommon for women to bleed excessively at times. This is the so-called DUB and has multiple causes which are treatable. You should get checked with your GP or OB for a pelvic exam for a thorough evaluation and treatment. Excessive bleeding can also cause anemia resulting in weakness, requiring iron supplementation.
