Melanin/pregnancy: 33yo female with brown patch developing on the neck. Melasma is increased during pregnancy which stimulate increased melanin. The melanin is a natural substance that color the skin, hair and eyes. Thus it is not unusual to have some patch of brown patch and you do not have to do anything. You can show it to your doctor as well.
