Left upper quadrant: That area houses spleen, stomach, pancreas, small intestine, end of transverse colon & beginning of descending colon. Pain could be "referred"/unrelated to GI tract or due to abdominal wall muscle since worse w/ movement & Valsalva. There's also well-known link between HT, celiac disease & leaky gut, so consider visit to gastroenterologist for thorough work-up. ER: fever/BM w/blood/no gas passing.
