This is not uncommon: Almost all women have some changes in their menstrual cycles once in a while. What you are describing is not unusual or outside of normal variation. This can occur for many different reasons. For example, increasing physical activity levels and/or weight loss can result in light periods and/or skipping periods. We can't always determine the reason for menstrual changes.
