Pounding below left breast today. begun 50mg phenergan (promethazine) last night. could it be the cause?hr is 60-80s laying down/sitting, 90-120standing. any advice?

Yes: Chest discomfort/pressure is a listed side-effect of promethazine, and is usually associated with folks taking meds for high blood pressure. I would stop the medication and see if your symptoms get better, then go to your doc and try to find an alternative medicine
