Here are some ...: PAP smear is a microscopic examination of the specimen from scraping the cervix surface to see if there is any tissue change toward the direction developing cancer described as dysplastic change, precancerous change, or obvious cancerous change; such cervical change is most commonly related with the HPV subtype of 16 & 18.
