Yes: Azithromycin is usually an effective treatment for chlamydia. The usual dose is 1gram taken all at once.

Info: Your pregnant female partner needs to be seen by her doctor. It's critically important that she not take any medication w/out a doctor's approval for her and that would answer your dosage question. Yes: unless you are allergic to the antibiotic! You will need a prescription from your physician. There's a Z-pak (5 day dose pack)and a Tri-pak (3 day dose pack). Just follow the dosing instructions .
