A member asked:

Is pain killers good during pregnancy. ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not really: By pain killers do you mean simply ibuprofen or tylenol (acetaminophen)? These can be used during pregnancy if needed. They do not recommend ibuprofen in the 3rd trimester. If you mean narcotic pain killers then they are not "good." Sometimes they are necessary because of serious medical condition and can be used short-term without harming the baby.
