It is unclear: it takes 3 months after the last shot for repo to wear off. It is not unusual for it to ale up to several months for ovulation and your periods to return to normal.

You really can't: it gets absorbed in, the metabolized out by the liver. Furthermore, even when it's gone the cycles have to get back into cycling and that can take even a few months.
