Floater: This link from Harvard Medical School provides information of floaters and flashes. If you have a sudden increase in floaters/ flashes get evaluated asap by an eye care professional. Retinal conditions (tears or detachments) can cause these symptoms and lead to permanent loss of vision. http://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/what-you-can-do-about-floaters-and-flashes-in-the-eye-201306106336
