Since nothing works, you must be convinced you are going to die. Then begin to live as if every day is that last day of your life. Laugh as much as you can, forget about fear, because when you are gone it no longer matters. And if you should not die, and yet you have spent so many days living, perhaps you might adopt some doubt, and perhaps begin living each day--loving each day, by intention.
