My daughters peroxidase is 285 and was told it should be below 35. what could this mean?

Thyroid issues: Hi Phillip757 I assume you mean 'anti-thyroid peroxidase', since thats the only clinically relevant peroxidase test I am aware of...and the test is usually done only when a thyroid problem is suspected. That said, a high level certainly deserves further testing and consultation with a (pediatric?) thyroid specialist. Your own general doctor may have already referred you.
