Hormone cycle: Breast tenderness is common in women especially in your age group. It depends largely on hormonal cycles during phases of the menstrual cycles. I wouldn't worry about occasional breast tenderness unless it becomes constant, you can feel a definite mass or lump, or other signs of infection.
