EMG,Muscle Biopsy&: The diagnosis of Post Polio Syndrome is based on past history of polio and other smptoms of increasing weakness and pain etc. Tests are EMG,Muscle Biopsy and SOMETIME MRI But the Diagnosis is based on past history of Polio and symptoms of increasing weakness, fatigue and muscle pain.We don't need to do any teasts to make a diagnosi.Tests are sometimes done to rule out other co existing conditions
