See below:: Blood pressure (lying and standing); eye exam; nerve & muscle examinatin. There are no specific tests to confirm this disease. A neurologist can make the diagnosis based on history/exam and ruling out other symptoms. Mri of the head, plasma norepinephrine levels and urine catecholamine test may be ordered.
