Metabolic disorders: Babies who have metabolic disorders and have imbalances of electrolytes and glucose require highly specialized formulas as prescribed by a pediatric specialist (genetics, gastroenterology, neonatology or endocrinology). It is dangerous to use formulas other than those recommended specifically for your babies medical problem. Similac Advance and Total Comfort are likely inappropriate.
