Is there a test of some sort to pinpoint what allergies i have that could be causing my canker sores?

Possibly: Your doctor can entertain blood tests to determine if you have cold sores and/or allergies to something else. Good luck

No: Although allergy to strep mutan ( a normal flora in the mouth) has been suspected to be one of the causes, there is no test to verify it.

Canker sores: Canker sores are not well understood. Stress, and trauma can be a cause. Some people are sensitive to SLS, sodium lauryl sulfate, in toothpaste. Try switching to a SLS free toothpaste and see if this helps.
