Injured hands are: sensitive to cold. At least that is what the sign said in each room when I did part of my training in Buffalo, NY where it was cold at times and this information was useful! Other problems that may feel worse with cold are arthtisis, nerve issues, circulation. Usually I tell patients that the first winter after an injury is the worst for cold sensitivity and it fades. Perhaps an evaluation?
