My opinion?: Llikely didn't work for even 1 day. Unfortunately, sorry to put it like that but you may have just witnessed the classic "placebo effect" in action. More recently work has been coming out calling into question the ACTUAL MEASURABLE effects of these medications for ADD & ADHD. You'll have to speak to your provider. There are other agents but maybe the diagnosis needs to be reviewed or revised?

Needs follow up...: You need to discuss this with your prescriber and see if you need a higher dose. 5 days might be too early to determine if the medication really works or not. I would wait and give it more time and then follow up as needed with your doctor on this.
