A bit high: First off, let me congratulate you for checking your BP! Most 17 y.o.s do not know their BP! A healthy BP is usually below 120/80, so your diastolic pressure is fine, however your systolic (140) is high, and I would continue to monitor that. Generally if you can keep it below 140 you probably don't need to be on medication. Lower the salt in your diet and do aerobic exercise daily!
