Many things: Many things can cause back discomfort - sometimes a pinched nerve in the spine can cause pain or tingling in the hand but this is very unlikely. Some patients have success with the spinal manipulation that chiropractors provide and others do not.

Unlikely: The hand numbness could occur with a neck problem. You need to see your physician as this may not be related to th back and you need to get the back and tingling clarified
