Cystoscooy: Hematuria can result from bleeding from the kidney, ureter, bladder or urethra. A thorough kidney work up should be done by a nephrologist to exclude diseases of the kidney. A urologist should do a Cystoscooy and possibly radiographic procedures to look at the ureters and collecting system of the kidneys. Causes of hematuria include stones, tumors, chronic cystitis, infections and nephritis.
