Not unusual: Unusual sensations (pain, tingling, numbness) in head of penis, often accompanied by a feeling of urinary urgency or burning, are quite common as a stone is passing through the lower part of the urinary tract from the opening of the ureter into the bladder and out through the urethra related to irritation and inflammation. These sensations usually resolve within 24-48 hrs after stone passage.
