I have great pain in the side of my foot that is unbearable. feels like bad bruise or a chip bone. no swelling but painful to the touch. please help. ?

OK, get Xray: If you think it feels like a bone injury, see a Dr and get an xray--if it is broken (or stress fractured), it needs immobilized to properly heal and stop hurting. The pain can also be addressed at Dr visit. Best to get it checked out.

Runner?: The pain may come from a contusion or fx. Runners can have a stress fx and even older persons can have a stress fx or osteoporotic fx. You may only have a strain but if this pain is that severe then see someone for this and ask about a film. If this is normal then may need orthotics in the shoes you wear. See an orthopedist or podiatrist.
