Not related: Hi. No, sore nipples are not related to Synthroid (thyroxine) use. If your Synthroid (thyroxine) dose is correct (need labs to tell), it will not cause menstrual cramping either. Good luck!

If you had been: Hypothyroid, then likely your reproductive hormones were not at normal levels. Most women have anovulation with hypothyroidism resulting in long cycles with heavy bleeding. As your hormonal millieu returns to normal you will begin ovulating again, which can result in transient nipple pain/sensitivity and mid cycle cramping due to the release of an egg. If there is any chance of pregnancy, do a HPT
