Blisters: Many patients will get blisters from overuse activities and friction in the area of concern. There are some excellent products and tips I recommend for preventing this from happening. Take care and enjoy the outdoors!

Toughening...: Blisters ,as you undoubtedly know are caused by friction. The key to stopping the blister is to reduce the friction. Would the blister still occur if the distance walked was only three miles? I not, then the foot needs more toughening. Properly fitted shoes, not necessarily "sneakers", would be you best investment. Some success has been achieved by using "Tough Skin" to help stabilize the skin.
