Stroke: in a relatively young person associated with eye pain obviates a work up for arteritis / vasculitis if not already done. Disease activity can be checked with a simple test like a C Reactive Protein or Erythrocyte sedimentation rate. Treatment might require steroids. CT angiography or MR angiography is often part of the work up. Use of hydrazine for BP control requires absolute compliance.

Well, sure: Not sure if the pains are related to stroke issues, but with your history and the mere fact that you are in pain, I would recommend you see you Dr. asap to get the sever pain assessed, and if no available appt. with them, that go to Urgicare if it is severe as described. Best wishes.

Temporal Arteritis: Sure, there is always a concern with headache. Especially when you have had a stroke before. For people older than 50 with headache mostly in the Temporal area concern is for Temporal Arteritis and other inflammatory vascular disease, with your stroke history. You need to talk to a Neurologistand a Rheumatologist.
