Probably not: If you aren't having any bleeding it is unlikely that this is a sign of a miscarriage.Severe pain that lasts is very worrisome and should be evaluated immediately but sharp twinges can just be the stretching uterus. The cause can vary with the different stages of pregnancy. When in doubt, call your OB. Best wishes
