STD cultures: It is certainly time for a definitive GYN evaluation with bacterial and STD testing. Condoms PLUS spermicidal foam, gel, sponge, inserts should be a part of your normal sexual protection. Consider BC pills and abstain sexually until cleared.

Unsure: The correct treatment depends on the problem. To diagnose the cause of the discharge you need an exam with at least an appropriate evaluation for the common causes of this type discharge (yeast, BV, Trichomonas, nonspecific vaginitis, STI, etc). If your doctor has done that, then the treatment should be appropriate for your particular findings. Osphena is used for atrophic vaginitis.
