History and physical: There usually is no specific test to obtain for pp endometrtis. It is known as a clinical diagnosis which means its diagnosed based upon symptoms (which are what you tell the doctor you are experiencing) and what the exam reveals. Endometritis is diagnosed by the presence of plasma cells in the endometrium which is obtained from an endometrial bx or D&C which are rarely performed in the pp period.
