Heart burn: A few things you can try include: 1: Lifestyle changes: avoid late night eating and elevate your head in if you have night time symptoms, weight loss, avoid spicy/acidic foods, chocolate, caffeine, alcohol and excessive ibuprofen. 2: Medications: You can try OTC Nexium (esomeprazole). If your symptoms do not get better within a week or two, see your doctor for further evaluation and treatment. Best of luck!

Possibly: Abdominal gurgling is generally due to movement of contents, including gas, through the gut. Distention of the bowels can cause crampy pain. More serious causes of these issues can include ulcers. reflux and infections. Your information indicates colostomy and hernia surgery as well as use of ibuprofen. See your MD as your issues may be more involved than this general answer.
