Utrasound and scan.: Usually with an ultrasound of the liver and gall bladder, following the identifications of signs and symptoms by your doctor. Some people have a sick gall-bladder filled with "sludge, " which does not empty properly: a hida scan is used to indentify this. Also, elevations in enzymes most asscoaited with gb disease, ie alkphos, and GGT are usually obtained on first vist.
