Variable: Many people may have gallstones and have no symptoms at all. Some people will get upper abdominal pressure, bloating, discomfort, nausea or vomiting. Eating fatty foods may make more discomfort. Vomiting, inability to eat are common. Serious infections sometimes can occur, and sometimes the gallstone can cause bile duct blockage with marked pain, vomiting, jaundice, and sometimes pancreatitis.
