Several possiblities: Without a more precise description of location and type of pain it's impossible to say, but it could be vertebral dysf., muscle cramps, kidney disease, quadratus lumborum spasm, disc herniation, sacroiliac problem, etc., etc. A proper history & physical exam, including an osteopathic hands-on exam might be able to determine the exact cause.Osteopathic manipulation may help.
