They could be: Contraception medications work by altering the hormone levels in your body so your egg does not implant and get fertilized. Certainly, the side effects of an altered flow can be seen as well. Discuss with your GYN doctor any concerns you have, as the exam they do can determine if all is well. Best wishes.
