?yeast: If there is redness and itching, a yeast infection of the armpits is possible. Allergy to deodorants used is another possibility. The lumps may be swollen lymph glands reacting to the inflammation or infection. You may need to have your physician evaluate you. In the meantime discontinue any deodorant use, apply antiyeast,antibiotic ointment after applying warm moist applications and patting dry.
