Hemochromatosis?: High ferritin may be a sign of hemochromatosis, a disease of excess iron storage in liver and other organs. If diagnosed and treated early, its serious complications (cirrhosis and heart and gonadal failure) can be prevented or reduced. I recommend you see a hematologist.
