Can supraventricular tachycardia go away by itself over time? i'm just not keen on catheter ablation and i don't want to be on bisoprolol forever!

SVT: Typically, SVT will not go away on its own. Think of it like a stray wire that short-circuits the electricity. Until the stray wire is cut or removed, the short-circuits will continue. Stranger things have happened in medicine, but the general consensus is going to be no, it won't go away on its own.

SVT outcome varies: SVT can go away if it is brought on by another condition. The other condition may resolve and the SVT may also improve. SVT is best diagnosed by a Cardiologist and patients should certainly heed the advise regarding specific therapy. If ignored or untreated, SVT can lead to other complications.
