Lymph node: Likely a lymph node that is swollen and possibly infected. You may need an antibiotic and steroid to fix the problem. See your doctor or urgent care.

Swollen "gland": Often this is tender and swollen due to a transient viral illness. If it does not trend better over the next week then you should consider seeing a primary care physician.
