Same as other bcps: most common is nausea and breakthrough bleeding. ~1/2000 risk of blood clot in leg or lungs. you can read the package insert for details

Serious risks are:: There are potential serious risks with use of oral combined contraceptives. This includes; ^ risk for stroke, heart attack, blood clots, cervical cancer. Women who smoke, have diabetes, hypertension, renal diseases and vascular diseases are at higher risk.
