Depends on bone age: Depends on potential for growth. At the ends of your long bones are physes or growth plates that ccntrol bone growth. If these are closed there is not potential for additional growth. Most females but not all slow down in growth at about 16 years. Bone age, radiograph of hand, can estimate potential for additional growth by looking at physes in the hand and wirst.
