No.: Most juvenile idiopathic arthritis patients are both ccp antibody negative, and rf negative. The diagnosis is largely clinical, with evidence for joint and systemic inflammation (crp).

Arthritis tests: Juvenile arthritis means that your joints are warmer than normal, swollen, may have fluid inside or not move through the full range of motion. If you have arthritis on physical exam, then yes, blood tests should be done. If you have no arthritis on exam, blood tests will not give you the diagnosis of juvenile arthritis (rare exceptions with high fever)
