Need more info: Sounds like you've had an appropriate workup so far. Your description of burning sounds like nerve type pain. A more unlikely diagnosis could be early shingles if only happening on one side, but your symptoms do sound more like a urinary tract infection or stone. Keep an eye on the area, and keep up with any patterns to the pain. See your doctor if still having problems.
