There are many: conditions that can cause elevations in liver function tests. These elevations can be small to very high. You need to follow up with your doctor and get to the reason( diagnosis ) of the elevation. These tests may or may not be the reason for your above described symptoms.A thorough exploration is required.Good luck.

MANY TESTS/REASONS: Liver function studies are tests that measure the way the liver is working. Some measure the effectiveness of the liver cells themselves others measure the "excretion" of the enzymes and "end products" of metabolism. The symptoms you mention are VERY NON-SPECIFIC and may be due to abnormal liver function as well as a host of gastrointestinal conditions. Hope this helps Dr Z
