Hopefully nothing: Hopefully nothing will happen, but a word of caution on non-condom use. Herpes outbreaks last 7 to 10 days, but the virus sheds from the skin up to 21 days after an outbreak. A sexual partner who contracts Herpes in this way not only won't be "thrilled" but it is a violation of sexual etiquette to not inform them of the risk of infection.
